About Us

Hi! We’re the Eiswirth family — a krewe of four from New Orleans who thrive on good food, packed suitcases, and passports that never collect dust for long.

We’re Emily and Clayton, parents to Henry and Eleanor — two adventurous, big-hearted kids who somehow manage to juggle more extracurriculars than we ever thought possible. Between baseball, softball, soccer, flag football, swim team, tennis, gymnastics, and school, our weekly calendar looks like a multicolored game of Tetris. But in the middle of all the movement, we carve out time for what feeds our souls: travel.

When we’re not devouring the best food in the country (yes, we’re biased — New Orleans has our hearts and our taste buds) or celebrating Mardi Gras like it’s a sport, we’re dreaming up our next adventure. Travel is how we hit pause, how we reconnect, and how we show our kids that there’s a whole wide world beyond our neighborhood parade routes and crawfish boils.

I’m Emily, the one who plans every trip with the precision of a military strategist and the enthusiasm of someone who just discovered Pinterest. I live for the itinerary. Not just the “where we’re going” part — the “what time we leave the hotel, what snacks we’re bringing, and where we’ll be standing for the best view of the sunset” kind of itinerary. I thrive on planning. Everyone else just tries to keep up.

Clayton is our calm in the travel storm. He has the patience of a saint and the magical ability to go with the flow no matter where we are — a crowded medina, a delayed flight, or an Airbnb without Wi-Fi. He’s the quiet force that keeps the wheels turning (and the kids laughing) when things don’t go according to plan — which, let’s be honest, is often.

Henry and Eleanor are our why. Their curiosity, questions, and excitement for new places remind us of how lucky we are to see the world through their eyes. Every year, we try to find a new hidden gem to explore — not just for the adventure, but to show our kids how big the world is, how much there is to be thankful for, and how valuable it is to understand people who live differently than we do.

Both Clayton and I work full-time in healthcare, so travel is more than just vacation — it’s how we balance the busyness of everyday life. It’s how we teach our kids in ways school can’t. It's where we laugh the hardest, learn the most, and feel the closest to each other.

So that’s us — navigating life, love, and a whole lot of logistics, one passport stamp at a time. Thanks for being here. We hope our stories inspire you to take that trip, make those memories, and say yes to adventure — even if it means waking up at 4 a.m. for a flight with two kids and a backpack full of crushed up goldfish.

Let’s explore together!
